This three-and-a-half day Institute is designed for educators interested in learning how to incorporate the Brightworks school methodology of student-led project work into their classroom, school, or district. Participants will work with Gever Tulley, Brightworks Founder, and a team of inspiring Brightworks educators to understand the key components of learner-led curriculum that can work within the constructs of any school setting, from traditional to progressive models.
We will be spending the mornings exploring, prototyping and building. These experiences are designed to be scalable to a wide age range and will give you invaluable insight into your students’ experience. Our afternoons will be reflective. Student-led doesn’t mean hands off. From declaration to exposition we will share the structures and routines that support student-driven projects with the goal of giving you practical solutions to implementation challenges in your classrooms.
